It's been 6 weeks, and my minimal intake diet has helped me lose 14 pounds. Not too shabby, I say. But I've grown tired of starving myself and I'm quite happy with my smaller belly, so I'm ending my diet today.

Of course this doesn't mean I'm going back to eating like mad. What I've realized over the past 6 weeks is that I can go without snacks. And I can eat smaller, sensible meals. And I'll keep up my semi-daily exercise.

It's a great feeling when your pants fit. I'll see what happens over the next several weeks. Hopefully the pounds will stay off now that I've modified my eating habits and adopted an exercise routine.
