Paltry

While preparing a whole chicken for tonight's dinner, I noticed that this particular bird was packaged with a greater than usual amount of giblets. Most prominently, the liver. There was enough liver crammed into its body cavity to fill... well, nearly the entire cavity.

This particular chicken must have been an alcoholic.

Too bad that chicken liver isn't much of a delicacy. Or all that tasty. It would've been a better surprise if the chicken cavity was filled to the brim with truffles. Or even polish sausage.
