Snug
The weather has finally cooled down in New Orleans. The mercury is dropping into the low 50's during the night, and after a lengthy summer of hot nights (and a miserable week without electricty due to Katrina), this is a very welcome change. However, it's become a bit harder to get out of bed in the mornings.
Especially given that I have to get up at 5am every morning.
It takes quite a bit of willpower to throw off your fluffy down comforter, slide out of a warm bed, and march on over to a frigid tiled bathroom floor.
It's too bad you can't lose weight for getting up early. If that were true, it would make getting up in the morning a tad easier.
And I guess I could just turn on the heat. But there's something about the experience of having to have lived in 99% humidity and 100 degree heat for a week due to Katrina knocking out power that makes me less than enthusiastic about turning on heat.
