Nathalie looks over her shoulder at the three women sitting at the bar, turns around, and replies, "They're all men."

I take a closer look. The broad shoulders, the rough facial features, their minimally feminine movements. She's right.

I never understood drag queens. It just escapes me. A comedian once described them as being similar to very scary clowns.

Regardless, we had a great time people watching during dinner at this random restaurant we found while walking around Fremont today, McMenamins Dad Watson's. Excellent food, excellent microbrew, and amazingly unbelievably affordable prices. It was a great way to end a long, but fun day exploring the neighborhoods of Seattle.
