Airwaves

After weeks of pining away, I finally got the wireless internet up and running in my house. Now I'm no longer tethered to the office, and can roam around the house on the laptop. The manufacturer claims I can go up to 300 feet away from the router unit, but I believe that's applicable only if I live in a hangar. So, realistically, the range is a few rooms away from the router. But that's all the range I need, so I'm quite content.

As a bonus, someone in the neighborhood also has gotten their wireless internet up and running, but didn't set any security measures, so I easily hacked into their system (by accident, really) while configuring my own. This is a good example of why you should never use default security settings for anything.
