Superstructure

I surveyed their extensive list of toppings. "Oh look, bacon. You want to get bacon?"

Nathalie thought briefly for a second then replied that she will stick with pepperoni.

"But you like bacon."

That bit of logic did nothing to convince her to add it to her half of the pizza. "It might taste weird," she said with a slight frown.

"How about I get it on my half, and you can have a bite and see what you think?"

That seemed an agreeable option, and when the pizza showed up to the table, one bite proved my point. Bacon on pizza is delicious!
