Munchies

In a gastronomic celebration of Christmas and the birth of Christ, Nathalie and I made roasted turkey, mashed potatoes, gravy, cranberry sauce, early peas, bread, and apple pie a la mode and fresh satsumas for dessert. All for the 2 of us. I contemplated making cornbread stuffing, but decided it might be just a bit too much food.

The dilemma of what to do with the leftover food begins.

Today, we made Southwestern marinated turkey quesadillas, with grilled onions, refried beans, roasted tomato and corn salsa, and sour cream. It was quite delicious.

Eight more pounds of turkey to go.
