Broadcast
I never finished finding good radio stations when I moved to New Orleans 3 years ago. A decision much regretted when the Neon I was stuck with for 2 weeks came equipped with only a AM/FM radio.
You can drive in silence listening to the Neon's engine strain for so long before you start dialing through the bandwidth, searching for radio stations that play something you can tolerate.
During the past two weeks, I've found several stations that I like, including a country station and a new "disco" station. Interesting, though, one would assume that living in New Orleans means a station dedicated to jazz or blues would play jazz or blues 24 hours a day. But such a station does not exist.
