Thanksgiving

As the day came to a close, we parked ourselves on the couch, dimmed the lights, and enjoyed the simple company of each other. Happy and full from Helene's Thanksgiving feast, and cozy on the couch under a blanket, we let the night ease on by while staring intermittently at the twinkling lights on the Christmas tree and at each other.
