Omerta

How being in a surgical residency program is like being in the mob:

1. You don't trust nobody.

2. Only your own family can be trusted. And even then, with a grain of salt.

3. You never take no for an answer.

4. Surgical residents are often accused of bullying other residents to get what they want.

5. You can be trusted to "take care" of anything.

6. You know how to get people to "disappear" off your census.
